SAMANTHA HAYWOOD — click

E-mail:
sam@tla1.com
Areas of interest:
Fiction:
Sophisticated, finely crafted, literary narratives of all types
and styles (experimental is good within reason). Some types of commercial
fiction, preferably with original approaches (but no sci-fi, fantasy,
pulp romance, or overly violent thrillers).
Non-fiction:
Narrative-driven writing on fascinating and culturally relevant topics.
Politics, gender issues, memoirs (must be truly original, or well
known subjects), environmental issues, historical narratives handled
in refreshing ways, sexuality, and true crime with social implications.
Quirky subjects are welcome – keeping in mind that essentially
the story must be thrilling - and arresting – and, where applicable,
socially important.
Graphic Novels and Narratives:
This is a new and accelerating personal interest and submission queries are welcome via email.
Guidelines: Submissions are welcome only via email.
Authors are encouraged to email a 20-page writing sample (maximum),
along with a publishing history and synopsis. Please note if other
agents are also considering these projects. Due to the volume of
submissions received, replies will be sent only for submissions
being actively considered.
