DOROTHY JOAN HARRIS

Joan was born in Japan and lived there until war forced her family
home to Canada. After graduating from the University of Toronto, she
taught for a year in France and then in Japan at her former school,
The Canadian Academy. She returned to Canada and was an editor with
Copp Clark Publishing. She is married with two children.
