Eric was born and educated in Essex, England. He has had a varied career including being a town planner in England and in Canada. Eric now works full time from his studio in the hills outside Toronto, where he lives with his wife. He writes and illustrates picture books for children and concentrates also on magazines, educational publications and package design. Eric works in watercolours and pastels.
