Janet Perry Marshall is the
illustrator of twelve books for children,
featuring bright, bold designs of cut-paper collage. She delights in
visual guessing games, which are a theme in several of her books. Reviewers
praise her illustrations as "glowing", "fanciful",
"eye-catching", and "snazzy bright". Her work has
been honoured by the Society of Illustrators, the International Reading
Association, and the Museum of American Illustration. Ms. Marshall lives
in Hingham, Massachusetts.
