Lisa Horstman began her childrens
book career in 1994, when she was awarded the Dr.
Seuss Picture book Award for writing and illustrating her picture
book submission, Fast Friends. Her books
have also won awards from The Society of
Publication Journalists and The
National Park Service. She is a former award-winning print media
art director residing in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is a member of the
Authors Guild, the Knoxville Writers Guild, and the Society for
Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators.
