
Marci Denesiuk holds an M.A. in Creative Writing
from Concordia University and has been writing short stories, poetry,
and fiction for more than ten years. In 1998, her short story Cold
Sleep was selected for an annual anthology by Scribner’s
Press, a collection of the best work from students of North American
graduate programs in writing.
Denesiuk has published both poetry and fiction in
small press anthologies, most notably the well-recognized L’Oie
de Cravan. She reads submissions for Matrix
Magazine, is active in the Montreal writing community, and
edits scripts for many Montreal filmmakers. She has worked as a
journalist and teaches creative writing and literature classes at
Seneca College, UQAM, and Concordia University.
