Former librarian and co-owner of Prime Crime Mystery Bookstore in Ottawa, Mary Jane Maffini is the author of three mystery series: five Ottawa-based Camilla MacPhee books, the Fiona Silk mysteries featuring mayhem in West Quebec, and the new Charlotte Adams cozy series which introduces a professional organizer in Upstate New York, as well as nearly two dozen crime short stories. She is a former President of The Crime Writers of Canada, and a member of the Ladies Killing Circle Inc. She is a frequent speaker and workshop leader on writing, mysteries and Canadian crime writing.
