Michael Coldwell has worked full-time in the field of entertainment public relations since 1995. He has been a staff publicist for Columbia-TriStar Films, Planet Hollywood, and Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino, working with such media stars as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elton John, Celine Dion, Tiger Woods, Michael Douglas, Britney Spears and countless others. He has extensive contacts in Hollywood and with local, regional, and North American media.

His first novel, Fast Break (James Lorimer & Company, 1995), was published when he was 22. Camp All-Star, its sequel, was published eight months later. Coldwell’s third novel, Nothing But Net, was published in 1997. In addition to his fictional work, Coldwell has been a humor columnist and freelance writer for The Halifax Herald and Eye Weekly. His poetry has been published in literary magazines in the United States and Canada.

Coldwell has also performed professionally as a stand-up comic at The Laugh Resort, Yuk Yuk’s, Comedywood and many other venues. He has worked with Tommy Chong (of Cheech & Chong), Pauly Shore and Richard Lewis.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Michael Coldwell now lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada.
