Rachelle Delaney has worked as a freelance writer, editor, and book reviewer, with publications in
Canadian magazines and newspapers such as Yes Mag, Nature Canada, and the Edmonton Journal. Born in Edmonton,
she currently resides in Vancouver, where she is completing her MFA in creative writing at the University of
British Columbia. Rachelle’s passion for nature and travel often reveals itself in her work, and her writing awards
include the Grant MacEwan Young Writers Award, the Larry Turner Prize for nonfiction, and the Bissenden Scholarship
for creative writing. The Lost Souls of the Margaret’s Hop is her first novel.
