Joe Ollmann is a cartoonist who blunders about the quaint, cobbled streets of Montreal pretending he understands some of what is being said to him. He is the author of three books: Chewing on Tinfoil, The Big Book of Wag! and This Will All End in Tears (Winner of the 2007 Doug Wright Award for best book), all ostensibly funny books but mostly consisting of bug-eyed, bucktoothed characters enacting various depressing aspects of the misanthropic author's world view. Born on a Christmas tree farm in 1966, he acts the sophisticate, but you can smell the hayseed on him a mile away.
