Grant Lawrence is a writer, broadcaster, host, musician, and journalist based in Vancouver BC. Presently the national and regional host at CBC Radio 1, 2, and 3, he is considered by many to be the leading voice in independent music in Canada. Prior to radio, Grant was the lead singer of The Smugglers, the internally acclaimed Vancouver garage band that released eight albums and toured throughout the world.
