Donna Broder has over 15 years of product development and marketing experience in the children's and educational market.  She developed hundreds of products ranging from teaching curricula to posters and videos.  She has worked with numerous companies in the educational, publishing, and entertainment fields, including Highsmith, World Almanac, American Library Association, Learning Curve, Women in Film, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, Peaceable Kingdom, ABC and Peninsula Films. Donna is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and lives with her husband and two children in southern California.

Julie Macht started her career as an attorney and now heads the graphic design firm Apron Strings Design.  She has created products for PBS, Pepsi, Nickelodeon, QVC, and Random House.  Her firm's expertise is the design of children's educational and promotional products. Julie and her family live in southern California.

Julie and Donna have collaborated to create a scrapbook series, and the first title, Someone I Love is Going on a Trip, is due out with Abbeville in 2010.
