Matt Beam is a young adult author, freelance journalist, photographer, and teacher living in Toronto, Ontario. After receiving his BA in history at Dalhousie University, Matt studied as a primary school teacher at the University of Western Sydney, Australia. He has taught in New Zealand, Fiji, Guatemala, Vancouver and Toronto. He has written for the Toronto Star, Toronto Life and The National Post.
