Ron Broda is a renowned children's book illustrator and paper sculptor. With over 15 years in advertising, art directing and commercial illustration, Ron combines techniques in paper sculpture and watercolour to create vivid illustrations with great detail and realism. His design abilities and techniques have enabled him to create unique ad campaigns and art pieces for distinguished clients such as Coca Cola, National Geographic, Xerox and others.
His award-winning children's books have earned wide acclaim and are sold internationally. Included among these is The Little Crooked Christmas Tree, now a classic television production. Ron currently resides with his family in Sarnia and is Curator/Director of a children's museum there. Struggling with learning disabilities through his years at school, Ron is in demand as a motivational speaker and visiting artist, inspiring children to overcome their insecurities and explore their abilities through art.
